Incheon National University (President: In-jae Lee), which aims to “cultivate communication-oriented talent that challenges creative innovation,” achieved the highest rating, S Grade, in the annual evaluation of the 2026 High School Education Contribution University Support Program, organized by the Ministry of Education, on May 21.
With this evaluation result, Incheon National University has now been selected for the program a total of 11 times since its first selection in 2015, and for 10 consecutive years since 2017. In particular, by receiving S Grade, which was awarded to only 18 out of 91 participating universities, the university was recognized for its excellence in areas including admissions evaluation capabilities, linkage with high school education, social responsibility, and budget management. Following this S Grade achievement, Incheon National University will receive an additional 10% in project funding.
The Ministry of Education’s High School Education Contribution University Support Program is a major initiative designed to enhance trust in university admissions by ensuring fairness and transparency in admissions operations, while also reducing the burden on students preparing for college entrance by strengthening the connection between high school curricula and university admissions.
Through this program, Incheon National University plans to provide customized admissions information tailored to different groups, including students, parents, and teachers, and actively operate support programs for the high school credit system. Through these efforts, the university will work to reduce students’ practical admissions burden and fully support the smooth operation of high school curricula.
Ji-seung Noh, Director of Admissions at Incheon National University, stated, “I believe this positive evaluation result reflects the university’s continued commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities as a national university.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to support high school education through fair and transparent admissions operations and various high school–university linkage programs.”
